A little about me

get in touch

Hello, I'm Caitie Lockhart.

Capturing love in the every day.

I currently reside in Salt Lake City, Utah with my partner Nick, son Royal, & dog Kylo. We moved to California after I graduated with a degree in Biology and a minor in photography. I got my first camera at the age of 8 and have been obsessed since. We moved to sLC in July of 2017 and I had our son in April 2020. I approach photography the way I approach life: it's all about the little things. So, let's capture your little imperfectly, perfect moments, together. Photo credit: Mallory Francks photography

"Caitie captured our wedding day perfectly! It's obvious that she loves what she does and her talent for capturing every special detail and moment was impeccable. She's very professional and fast! She truly went above and beyond to make sure our pictures were perfect!"

Annalee & Joe // SLC, UT

"I absolutely loved working with Caitie! My biggest fear choosing a wedding photographer was that we would have photos that looked like everyone else's, and that we would have to pull teeth with our photographer to get what we wanted. Caitie exceeded our expectations and worked with us on every aspect of our wedding. I was so impressed with her knowledge of what lenses and angles worked best for every shot. Our photos look amazing, and and I've never felt more comfortable in front of the camera. Needless to say, I'll be using her for all my future family portraits and recommending her to everyone we know. "

Caitie was super professional yet very personable. Both of these traits helped create a comfortable environment for us to let loose and enjoy the time we spent with Caitie. Our bridals were very fun and we even got to include our dog. Caitie's photos were gorgeous! We got SO many compliments on our photos from friends and family! Pretty much we absolutely love the photos! Oh and her packaging of the completed photos was SO cute!
